POST DELIVERED BY BOAT!!!!

An employee of German postal carrier Deutsche Post DHL, navigates her punt through the narrow canals in the Spreewald forest while delivering mail on her first official day on the job as a waterway postal worker on April 3, 2012 in Luebbenau, Germany. The Spreewald forest is interlaced with canals that are still used by locals for delivering goods, ferrying tourists and even collecting garbage. The mail is brought to houses in the area by punt between April and October. The rest of the year mail is delivered to other mailboxes accessible via the road, as they are not as easily reached on the canals.
